Her recent work examines the opportunities and challenges of using virtual community health workers to address a variety of cultural, linguistic, health literacy and geographic backgrounds.
  • Community-based participatory research. Dr. Krieger's research uses community-based participatory research principles to describe and predict how social influence principles can be applied. This includes enhancing culturally aware participant recruitment to research studies, disseminating study findings and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Translational communication and cultural awareness. Dr. Krieger evaluates messages in a variety of communication environments. She seeks increased availability of culturally aware resources in various healthcare contexts.
