Lyell K. Jones Jr., M.D., focuses on health systems research, specifically how quantitative measures of quality and value impact health outcomes. Dr. Jones' work includes the development, implementation and refinement of quality improvement tools in neurological practice. He also has research interests in medical education and clinical neuromuscular topics.
As the U.S. health care system evolves to incorporate new technology and responses to systemic economic pressures, examination of how policy implementation affects patient care is critically important. The group led by Dr. Jones is focused on pursuing improved and equitable clinical outcomes of neurological care and ensuring that implementation of health care policy remains patient centered.
