Tufia C. Haddad, M.D., is a medical oncologist who also conducts research on breast cancer. Her research focuses on experimental therapeutics and clinical trials for drug-resistant breast cancer.
Dr. Haddad also studies models of health care delivery in oncology and their transformation through novel solutions using artificial intelligence (AI) and connected health technologies.
Dr. Haddad works closely with other scientists to move promising new cancer treatments from the lab to patients. She also studies biomarkers, or signs in the body that can help doctors learn how well a treatment may work. Her goal is to help develop better treatments and bring them to patients faster.
