Brewer.Jerry@mayo.edu Clinical Profile

SUMMARY

I study skin cancer in the setting of lymphoma. My studies have included all the common forms of skin cancer and their behavior in patients with either chronic lymphocytic leukemia or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

One of my areas of focus has been melanoma in the setting of immunosuppression. To this end, I have undertaken studies of patients with melanoma who also have had an organ transplant, or who have had lymphoma.

Another area of interest involves the incidence of melanoma; and I am currently working on a project investigating the increased rate of melanoma in Olmsted County in young individuals between the ages of 18 and 35.
