Drug Allergy Phenotypes, Endotypes, And Mechanisms: The United States Drug Allergy Registry (USDAR) Consortium Jacksonville, Fla.
The purpose of the UDSAR Consortium is to identify patients with true drug allergies and to collect biological samples from participants to identify the mechanisms of drug allergies. In doing so, we will recruit and enroll participants across settings who may have a drug allergy and study procedures will differ for those with acute or historical reactions.

Optimizing The Diagnostic Approach To Cephalosporin Allergy Testing Jacksonville, Fla. Cephalosporin antibiotics are commonly used but can result in allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. There is no clear diagnostic approach for cephalosporin-allergic patients, and guidance for the use of other antibiotics in allergic patients is based on side chain chemical similarity and limited skin testing evidence. This project includes a clinical trial and mechanistic studies to optimize the approach to cephalosporin allergy and advance future diagnostics.
