  The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rhu-pGSN plus standard of care (SOC) in subjects with moderate-to-severe ARDS (P/F ratio ≤150) due to pneumonia or other infections. 

• Azithromycin versus Doxycycline in combination with Beta-lactam therapy in Hospitalized Adult Patients with Community Acquired Pneumonia Rochester, Minn.

  The purpose of this study is to compare effectiveness and safety of Azithromycin versus Doxycycline in adult patients hospitalized with community acquired pneumonia (CAP). 

• Individualizing Corticosteroid Use in Pneumonia Rochester, Minn.

  The objectives of this study are to identify predictors of in-hospital disease progression (prognostic enrichment), to develop an individualized treatment rule (ITR) for steroid use through advanced statistical and machine learning methods (predictive enrichment), and to evaluate an ITR-guided corticosteroid use coupled with biomarker-guided dosing strategy (optimal patient selection and dosing) in community acquired pneumonia (CAP).
