  The purpose of this study is to develop a methodology to quantify the metabolic activity of the respiratory muscles during RMT, and to study the influence of various inspiratory loads and its effect on blood pressure, and blood pressure during RMT.

• The Influence of Paced Breathing Training on Blood Pressure Regulation Rochester, Minn.

  The mian objective of this small pilot study is to evaluate the efficacy of an individualized breathing protocol on lowering blood pressure among adults with borderline or elevated BP (SBP≥130mmHg, DBP≥90mmHg, or both) as well as their effects on other reported health measures such as sleep, anxiety, and depression.
