Carcinoid Valvulopathy and Related Conditions
Rochester, Minn.
The objective of this study is to aid research into the immunologic basis of carcinoid valvulopathy and related conditions. By collecting prospective patient samples associated with carcinoid tissue database will allow researchers to study a variety of questions related to these diseases. Our hypothesis is that unique inflammatory signatures and populations are the underlying basis for these conditions, and we will use a number of cutting-edge technologies to define these populations.
