The objectives of this study are to explore postictal EEG suppression in sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) cases and matched controls to seek a potential biomarker for SUDEP, and to explore potential risk factors for SUDEP such as clinical, electrophysiological and imaging data.

The purpose of this study is to survey epilepsy patients and their care providers for the level of need and desirability for a device that provides seizure detection and notification; and the level of accuracy that is expected of the device.
