The Cardiovascular Disease and Outcomes Research Program includes Mayo Clinic expert investigators at various career stages, components essential for the success of program projects and crucial to the sustainability of a scientific workforce capable of accomplishing the research goals critical to reducing cardiovascular disease.

Collectively, our team brings decades of interdisciplinary experience in epidemiology, cardiology, behavioral science, multiomics and data science. The team is also well-integrated with extramural partners.

Of note, Dr. Roger, the program co-director, chairs the Coronary Artery Risk Development in Young Adults (CARDIA) Steering Committee and the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) Observational Study Monitoring Board (OSMB).
