What: A 10,000 square foot facility with state-of-the-art simulation technology to complement clinical training and competency assessment at Mayo Clinic

Where: Stabile Building, first floor (ground level) 150 Third Street, S.W., Rochester, MN
How: We provide three types of simulation training:
- Standardized patients
- Task trainers
- Technologically advanced life-sized patient mannequins
Why: Mayo Clinic wants to lead in applying new technologies to improve clinical learning and patient care, and reduce patient risk
Who: Teams of Mayo Clinic educators have collaborated across departments and disciplines to create this facility. Our medical simulation center serves all Mayo Clinic learners: students, residents, nurses, allied health personnel and practicing professionals. Initial simulation center activities engage the following specialties:
