Rose J. Anderson

Senior Design Researcher, Center for Innovation, Mayo Clinic

Rose J. Anderson leads research, design and development efforts to transform health care experiences and amplify innovation across Mayo Clinic. Her role includes facilitating workshops on design methods and advising project teams through iterative, user-centered development processes.

Anderson, whose project work often blurs the boundaries between products, spaces and services, advocates sustainability and environmental responsibility as integral components of good design and future resilience.

Her current focus is with the Center for Innovation's Community Health Transformation platform, which seeks to achieve a scalable "triple aim" prototype in nearby Dodge County, Minn.

A recipient of the International Design Excellence Award in 2008, Anderson is listed on multiple medical device patents and has held design positions with Farm Product Development and HLB. She has a Bachelor of Science in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati.
