Roni Zeiger, M.D., is the former chief health strategist at Google, where he led efforts ranging from Google Flu Trends to Symptom Search.
He is now co-founder and CEO of Smart Patients, which aims to leverage the knowledge of patients to accelerate the era of precision medicine. Dr. Zeiger continues to see patients part time at a local urgent care center.
Dr. Zeiger earned his M.D. at Stanford University and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He has served as a clinical instructor of medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine and received a master's degree in biomedical informatics from Stanford.
Dr. Zeiger co-founded the blog Seduce Health, and he writes for ABCNews.com and The Huffington Post.
