Pete Kane has created an organization that is reigniting Minnesota's passion for innovation in health care technology. Founded in January 2013, Healthcare.mn has brought together a robust community of entrepreneurs, medical professionals, developers and designers who are accelerating Minnesota's health tech startups.
Prior to Healthcare.mn, Kane founded Phase-1Check, a Web app for clinical research organizations to verify subject enrollment eligibility, and ProcessEHR, a mobile app for caregivers to report time and care activities. Both ventures failed, but were instrumental to establishing the Minneapolis health tech community.
Kane has a B.A. in Chinese language and literature from the University of Minnesota and is currently launching his third health tech venture, SugarCare.
