Why did you choose research as a career?
It is fun and rewarding. I like doing something that benefits the public as well as my personal values and career goals. Research is definitely the best thing I can think of for me. It is really interesting to share ideas, communicate and collaborate with so many brilliant brains!
What attracted you to Mayo Graduate School?
The great faculty (a lot of national and international research leaders), student-faculty ratio, free atmosphere and support from Mayo Graduate School.
Why did you choose the clinical and translational science track?
I like translational and quantitative science.
What do you like about Rochester, Minn.?
It's an easy place for living and studying.
What are your plans for the future?
I may go back to China and contribute to the development of translational science.
