Judy C. Boughey, M.D.

Judy C. Boughey, M.D., is a consultant in the Division of Gastroenterologic and General Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and an associate professor of surgery in the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic. Her clinical practice focuses on the surgical management of breast cancer.

Dr. Boughey is actively involved with the education of surgical residents and is the program director of the Multidisciplinary Breast Surgery Fellowship in Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. Her research interests involve clinical and translational research in breast cancer, including risk assessment, detection, treatment and staging.

Dr. Boughey received her undergraduate degree in physiology and medical degree from the University of Cambridge in the U.K. She completed a general surgical residency at the University of South Carolina and a breast surgical oncology fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
