Host and Producer
Garrison Keillor is the host and writer of "A Prairie Home Companion" and "The Writer's Almanac," both of which air on public radio stations across the country. He's also the author of more than a dozen books, including "Lake Wobegon Days," "The Book of Guys," "Guy Noir: Radio Private Eye," and "Guy Noir and the Straight Skinny."
He was born in Anoka, Minn., in 1942 and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He lives in St. Paul, Minn., with his wife and daughter and has two grandsons. Keillor is a member of the American Academy of Art and Letters and the Episcopal Church.
