What is the difference between the CRT & RRT Exams?

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
The Entry Level CRT Examination is designed to objectively measure essential knowledge, skills and abilities required of entry level respiratory therapists. The CRT is a written exam.

Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)
The RPFT Examination is designed to objectively measure essential knowledge, skills and abilities required of an advanced pulmonary function technologist. The RRT is a clinical exam.

Is the Respiratory Program a Mayo School of Health Sciences Program? The Respiratory Program is through your affiliated college/university, but MSHS accepts Respiratory Care students from schools we are affiliated with to complete their clinical rotation at Mayo Clinic.
