I can’t imagine a more exciting time to begin a challenging and rewarding career in Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy. Join a devoted team that is passionate about what we do, from compassionate direct patient care to focused training of our residents and students. The practice of medicine in Hematology and Oncology is rapidly evolving. New therapies are discovered and implemented at a faster pace than any other field of medicine. Mayo Clinic is at the forefront of cancer research, enabling you to participate in the care of patients enrolled in clinical trials as well as those receiving an evidence-based, standard of care approach. The opportunity to meaningfully contribute is yours.
Mayo Clinic has proudly developed a highly qualified, dedicated group of preceptors to help you become an exemplary Hematology/Oncology Pharmacist. Our residency program excels in the ability to tailor the program to your needs and desires – whatever those may be. Your knowledge base and pharmacotherapy skills will mature and refine through participation in multidisciplinary patient care and a rigorous Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) curriculum. However, we will also help you develop your strengths and weaknesses, whether you need enhanced writing, communication, management, or teaching skills.
We are very grateful to have the best residents in the country joining our team of clinical pharmacists. A word of caution – it’s hard to leave once you get here! But rest assured that the commitment and sacrifice devoted to this residency program will serve you well in future endeavors.
Best regards,
