The Mayo School of Health Sciences Echocardiography Internship Program helps prepare individuals for professional practice in echocardiography.
Clinical Rotations
Students will gain clinical experience in Mayo Clinic's echocardiography laboratories. During your clinical rotations, you will work under the supervision of highly qualified cardiologists, cardiac sonographers and registered nurses.
Grading or Evaluation
The Mayo School of Health Sciences' system of evaluation gives students and faculty a comprehensive look at individual performance, allowing students who experience clinical difficulty to be directed to appropriate support resources, including tutoring programs and counseling opportunities. Students will receive weekly evaluations from their clinical preceptor.
