Positions
Twenty-four students (12 per class) are accepted on a competitive basis each year to the Cytogenetic Technology Program. Classes begin in early August and early January.

Your application and all supporting documentation must be received before July 1 for the January class and before March 1 for the August class.

- Official sealed transcripts of all college and/or university credits.
- Three sealed letters of recommendation.
- A $25 nonrefundable application fee.

Step 3: Applicants considered for appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic in Rochester for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty.
Appointment letters are mailed prior to the start of your classes. If you receive an appointment letter, your reply is expected within two weeks. Your appointment to the program is dependent upon successful completion of the physical examination and background check. |
