Certification
When you successfully finish the Athletic Training Internship, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Mayo School of Health Sciences.

Hours
For the majority of the athletic training clinical internship, your classroom instruction and clinical rotations will include eight-hour days, five days per week.

In the athletic training sports team internship, you’ll provide athletic training services under the supervision of a certified athletic trainer for home games. That schedule will vary depending on the home schedule of the Rochester-based sports team to which you are assigned.

Class Size
Each year, Mayo School of Health Sciences admits two students for athletic training clinical internships, and one student for the athletic training sports team internship.

One-on-one learning and instruction is emphasized.
