About Us A Heritage of Education Excellence
Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) has a distinguished history of preparing students for successful careers in the health sciences. Mayo Clinic, in fact, has been training allied health professionals for more than 100 years.

MSHS strives to educate students who excel in academic achievement to become providers of the best care to patients. Few academic institutions offer such experience and commitment to your success.

MSHS Today
About 800 students are enrolled annually in more than 60 MSHS programs representing 27 health sciences careers. The school’s nearly 300 faculty members ensure that every student receives extensive personal training.

If you’re looking to begin or advance a career in one of the allied health sciences, your goal will become reality at MSHS, where education is characterized by:

  • Innovative allied health sciences programs which lead to rewarding careers
  • A supportive, team-oriented environment in which you’ll learn and grow
  • Experienced faculty that are passionate about teaching and committed to your success
  • Extraordinary education, clinical and research resources to help you reach your highest goals

Regardless of the program selected, all MSHS students share a common goal – to receive an outstanding health sciences education at the nation’s premier academic medical center.

MSHS has more than 4,000 alumni. Many serve at Mayo Clinic locations in Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn., and Scottsdale, Ariz., and at Mayo's many regional practices. Others provide high-quality care at local, regional and health-care facilities throughout the nation and world.

Wherever they serve, they are among the most accomplished, respected professionals in their fields. They're proud of their MSHS training and of their lifelong connection to Mayo Clinic.
