Program Description
During the Transplant Anesthesia Fellowship Program at Mayo Clinic
in Rochester, you will be actively involved in the perioperative
and operative care of patients undergoing liver, heart, lung, heart
and lung, renal and pancreas transplantation.
You will also provide primary care to liver transplant patients
during their intensive care unit stays, which helps develop a well-rounded
approach to patient care. In addition, fellows are encouraged to
participate in clinical research.

In addition to the standard application materials required by MSGME, this program requires the following additional supporting materials to be submitted with your online application:
- A letter from your anesthesiology residency program director
Applications for each academic year, which begins in July, should be completed by December 31.
If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic in Rochester for an interview. Interviews are usually conducted from November through January.
