Department and Faculty

Skilled plastic surgeons at Mayo Clinic provide a wide range of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery services. The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is staffed by 18 plastic surgeons with specialized training and skills in one or more of these surgical subspecialties:

  • Aesthetic plastic surgery
  • Reconstructive surgery
  • Craniofacial surgery
  • Reconstructive microsurgery
  • Pediatric plastic surgery
  • Laser surgery
  • Hand surgery

Three plastic surgeons practice at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla.; 11 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.; and four at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Ariz. Plastic surgeons work closely with physicians from other specialties to offer patients comprehensive medical care to meet their reconstructive and cosmetic surgical needs. Surgeons in dermatology, otolaryngology (ENT), and oral and maxillofacial surgery also have training and expertise in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

In addition to caring for patients in their clinical practices, Mayo Clinic's faculty members are committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge. Many faculty members have published and lectured extensively and are highly regarded in their fields. You have direct access to the faculty at Mayo Clinic in Arizona throughout your training.
