Program Description
The Abdominal Imaging Fellowship Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester
will prepare you for an academic or subspecialty practice career
in abdominal radiology. This program provides training in all imaging
modalities to evaluate the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts,
and other intraperitoneal and extraperitoneal organs.
The application and interpretation of conventional radiology, computed
tomography, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear
radiology, fluoroscopy and interventional methods will be emphasized.
This program offers two additional subspecialty tracks, with emphasis
in either gastrointestinal or genitourinary imaging.
Accreditation
The Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education
(ACGME) accredits the Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic
in Rochester.

began in 1980 and received official accreditation in 1999. It is
anticipated that each year one to three fellows will complete trainging
in the program.,
