Program Description
The one-year Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship Program at Mayo Clinic in Arizona offers extensive exposure to the evaluation and treatment of complex foot and ankle problems in adolescents and adults. In addition, the program offers clinical and basic science research opportunities for those who wish to pursue academic medicine in orthopedics and/or foot and ankle surgery.

Certification
You will be eligible to take the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery subspecialty examination in foot and ankle surgery upon completion of the fellowship.

Program History
The Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship began in 1988, and since that time, more than 17 physicians have completed training. It is anticipated that one fellow will complete training in this program annually.
