One position is available each year. Appointments are made on a competitive basis.
How to Apply
MSGME does not process printed applications to this program. To apply, you need to use the third-party application service, Apply Yourself.
In addition to the standard application materials required by MSGME, this program requires the following additional supporting materials to be submitted with your online application:
- A letter of recommendation from your residency program director or the department chair
- A curriculum vitae
The academic year begins in early August.
If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic for an interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted in September, October and November, almost two years before the program starts.
