Housing
Good, moderately priced housing is relatively easy to find in Rochester. Many students live within walking distance of the Mayo Clinic campus and the amenities of downtown Rochester.
Short-term housing
Mayo Graduate School has short-term housing (no longer than six months) available if you cannot find housing prior to coming to Rochester. Facilities include dormitory-style rooms at the Kahler Grand Hotel and shared apartments at Second Street Commons. Both facilities are in downtown Rochester, with close access to the Mayo campus. Costs vary by facility, depending on single or double occupancy.
Second Street Commons
To request reservations at the Second Street Commons, please call Lanmark Property Advisors Residential Reservations at (507) 285-5082. When making reservations, please indicate that you are a MGS student to receive the special room rate.
Kahler Grand Hotel
To request reservations at the Kahler Grand Hotel, call Reservation Service at (800) 533-1655 or (507) 282-2581. Again, indicate that you are a MGS student when making reservations to receive the special room rate.
