About the author

Kenneth V. Iserson, M.D., completed training in surgery at Mayo Clinic in 1976. He is an emeritus professor of emergency medicine at The University of Arizona, a fellow of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine, and founder and director of Recursos Educacionales en Español para la Medicina de Emergencia (Educational Resources in Spanish for Emergency Medicine).
