Register for Access
Registering for the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association (MCAA) online community takes just four simple steps. During this process, members create a unique user ID and password that they use to log in to the online community.
Before continuing, please contact the Alumni Office at 507-266-4197 to obtain your verification number, which is required for step 3 of the registration process.
Members only need to register once. After registering, if a user ID or password is forgotten, it can be retrieved online.
Step 1: Search for your name. Visit the online community's registration page. In the search box on the right-hand side of the page, enter your last name and first name (or initial). Click the "find my record" button.
If your name today is different than it was while you were at Mayo — for example, you've married — try your current name first.
Step 2: Select name from results list. The search results list the names of people within our alumni database who matched your search criteria. Find your name in this list and click it. Additional personal information will appear. Review this information to ensure that this is your listing.
If you cannot find your name, click the back button on your Web browser and double-check your spelling. If your name has changed, try entering your previous name. If the system only contains your previous name, use that one to register and contact the Alumni Office to have it updated.
Should you still be unable to find your name, click the "complete this request form" link to send us a message.
- Step 3: Enter verification number. In the "verification number" box, enter the verification number you obtained from the Alumni Office. Click the "verify my record" button.
Step 4: Complete registration form. Complete the registration form, which includes establishing the user ID and password you'll use to log in to the online community in the future. Once chosen, user IDs cannot be changed. Your password must be at least six characters, and you can change it at any time.
Write down the user ID and password you choose and store this information in a safe place. You are also required to provide an email address at which you wish to receive correspondence from MCAA and other alumni.
