Aristotle (384-322 B.C.)

ARISTOTLE (384-322 B.C.) was born at Stagira, on the Strymonic Gulf, and hence called "the Stagirite". This great Greek philosopher was the son of a physician, and was a student of medicine and biology, and made many important observations in natural as well as the metaphysical science.
