Located on Joseph Building, 5th Floor, in Saint Marys Hospital at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., the Immunochemical Core Laboratory (ICL) includes approximately 2,600 square feet of space. Additional lab features include biological and fume hoods, a cold room and multiple freezers, as well as access to institutional space for radiolabeling and radiation monitoring.
On average each year, the ICL supports 130 research protocols for 50 to 75 investigators. For the three-year period of 2008 to 2010, the ICL performed approximately 277,000 tests.
The ICL is supported by funding from Mayo Clinic, the Center for Translational Science Activities and user fees.
