CTSA Research Resources Core Innovation Fund
The development of new methodologies within cores and specialized phenotyping facilities is critical to the advancement of translational and clinical research and maintaining cutting-edge services. The Core Innovation Fund facilitates development of state-of-the-art tools and innovative modifications of existing methods for translational research, making them rapidly available to clinical investigators who conduct human studies.
The CTSA Research Resources Core Innovation Fund supports innovative development of novel clinical and translational methods and can encompass a wide range of techniques. Proposed methods should have wide applicability to human studies (i.e., not be specific to a narrow range of interests or experiments), and should be ready for implementation in the core or facility by the end of the award period.
Any institutional core, shared resource, CTSA Translational Technology Core or Specialized Phenotyping Facility. Applications should be submitted by, or on behalf of, the director of the core/facility/resource. Individual investigators interested in the development of a novel method for implementation in a core/facility/resource should partner with the director on the application.
Applications are due November 16, 2012 to Laura Meiners by email.
