Mayo Clinic Clinical Research Unit receives 5-Star Award

The Mayo Clinic Center for Translational Science Activities (CTSA) Clinical Research Unit, located at Domitilla 5B in St. Marys, is the recipient of the Professional Research Consultants (PRC) 5-Star Award. They will be honored in June at the Mayo Clinic 2012 Service Excellence Awards.

The PRC conducts research for health care and other industries across the country and recognizes clients that exhibit the highest levels of excellence. Five-Star Awards are given to facilities, providers and units that score in the top 10 percent of the PRC’s national client database on the Overall Quality of Care “Percent Excellent” score. Patients are randomly surveyed on an ongoing basis, which enables Mayo to better understand the patient experience and identify opportunities for improvement.

This is a tremendous honor for the CRU staff and a fitting recognition of their dedication and commitment to the study subjects and patients who participate in our research protocols,” said Sundeep Khosla, M.D., Co-Principal Investigator and Director of CTSA Research Resources.
