University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine Research Award
Through a collaboration between the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) School of Medicine and Mayo Clinic, the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCaTS) offers a small number of UPR medical students an opportunity to take part in a two-month clinical and translational research experience (project) with an established investigator on the Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
While recipients of the UPR School of Medicine Research Award receive a stipend, transportation to and housing in Rochester are not provided, though Mayo Clinic staff will assist participants in locating travel and lodging options.
