Mayo Clinic Health System Practice-Based Research Network
The Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN) is a group of more than 75 medical clinics and 1100 medical providers across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa working together to solve problems affecting the health of individuals and communities. The network addresses the challenges of health care practice to improve the health and health equity of patients and communities.
Although we are based in the Mayo Clinic and the upper Midwest region of the United States, we partner with community-based, government, academic and other agencies across all sectors to undertake research and address health problems affecting communities and the nation.
The MCHS PBRN brings expertise and a rigorous scientific approach to innovation, implementation and evaluation in order to create results that matter, that are sustainable, and that can be shared for use in other settings to benefit communities, patients and clients. Ultimately, this leads to healthier patients and communities through the scholarship of health practice.
