    Personalized medicine

Mayo Clinic is enrolling participants to better understand the impact of genes and environment on human disease.

Overview

What is the Mayo Clinic Precure Study?

The Mayo Clinic Precure Study — also called Mayo Clinic Precure — is a study to advance research into the causes and treatments of human disease. It explores how interactions between people's genetic material and their past environmental exposures affect human disease.

The study team is making a library of biological samples and relevant testing results from thousands of people with diverse backgrounds and health statuses. This type of library is called a registry. Researchers at Mayo Clinic will use the information and test the biological samples to better understand why a disease or disorder occurs in different groups of people and how it develops over time.
