Investigators in the Experimental Therapeutics Program are dedicated to improving treatment for patients with cancer by overcoming limits of current chemotherapeutic agents, developing more-effective drugs through early clinical trials, and customizing treatment options through pharmacogenetics.
Supported by a large and multidisciplinary research team, the Experimental Therapeutics Program at Mayo Clinic promotes the development of new anti-cancer drugs, translating findings from clinical trials and the lab to the clinical setting for patient care.
Research in the Experimental Therapeutics Program focuses on advancing and improving cancer therapeutics, including early cancer clinical trials, pharmacogenetics, signaling pathways and small molecule inhibitors.
Contact the Experimental Therapeutics Program for information about its research on cancer drugs, including efforts to develop chemotherapy agents that are more effective and pose fewer adverse side effects.
The Experimental Therapeutics Program is part of the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center with locations in Arizona, Florida and Minnesota.
