Every five years, three projects within the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Mayo Clinic are selected for detailed investigation.
Here are the three special projects now under investigation within the center:

- Project 2: The Progranulin (PGRN)/TDP-43 Axis in Alzheimer's Disease and Neurodegeneration
- Project 3: Identification of Alzheimer's Disease Risk Variants by Genome Wide Association of Gene Expression
