A Study Of Symptom Trajectories In Transplant Recipients (Transplant Symptom Study)

About this study

The purpose of this study is to collect foundational data regarding the symptom experience and examine the relationships among symptoms, interpersonal factors, and functioning following kidney transplantation. By evaluating contextual factors and their effects on symptoms and functioning, this research aims to enable early identification of high-risk patients and inform the development of personalized interventions, ultimately improving long-term quality of life.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults (age ≥ 18) who have received a kidney transplant within one year prior to enrollment.

 

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Individuals who do not read or write in English, do not have access to a mobile device, or do not have internet access to complete the surveys will be excluded.
