About this study
The purpose of this study is to examine how informed consent format influences patient comprehension, uncertainty, self-efficacy, and consent satisfaction.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. Inclusion Criteria:
Able to speak, read, or understand English sufficiently to provide informed consent
18 years of age or older
White or Black
Living in the United States
Exclusion Criteria:
Unable to speak, read, or understand English sufficiently to provide informed consent
Inability on the part of the patient to understand the informed consent or be compliant with the protocol.
