James S. Fitzsimmons, B.Sc.
Assistant Professor of Orthopedics
Jim has been involved in orthopedic research with Dr. O'Driscoll since 1991. He provides guidance with experimental design, advises on research methods, and offers insights with respect to data interpretation and analysis. Jim also assists with the writing of papers and grants and is responsible for the day-to-day management of Dr. O'Driscoll's research program.

Dave R. Shukla, M.B., B.Ch.
Research Fellow
Dave is an alumnus of the University College Dublin School of Medicine & Medical Science. He has decided to pursue his research interests at Mayo Clinic prior to commencing his surgical residency training. Dave has a keen interest in elbow-related clinical and basic science biomechanics studies and intends to devote two years to completing his current projects.

Dipit C. Sahu, MBBS
Research Fellow
Dipit is an orthopedic surgeon who has completed a shoulder reconstruction fellowship at the Alps Surgery Institute in Annecy, France. His research pursuits at Mayo Clinic involve both basic science and clinical studies pertaining to the elbow.

Davide Blonna, M.D.
Research Collaborator
Davide is currently an orthopedic surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University of Turin Medical School. He has collaborated with Dr. O'Driscoll on clinical elbow studies since 2008 and continues to do so from Italy.
