Research Interests
Our research interests include:
- Spatial Orientation / Disorientation, Motion sickness, Simulator sickness, vestibular illusions, flight simulation, balance enhancement, electrical stimulation of the vestibular system
- High altitude related threats including terrrestrial high altitude related illnesses, performance alterations due to hypoxia, hypocapnia; hypo- and hyperbaric operations
- Acceleration induced blackout (G-LOC, A-LOC), Radial tonometry in healthy subjects and in increased cardiac risk scenarios
- Life support and risk mitigation in the context of civilian and governmental spaceflight operations
- Transport of wounded subjects in air evacuation scenarios
