Jayant A. Talwalkar, M.D., is a transplant hepatologist with interests in health services and policy research in the areas of liver disease and transplantation. He joined the Mayo Clinic faculty in 2000 after completing fellowships in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology, including a Master of Public Health in clinical effectiveness at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Dr. Talwalkar's research interests are pursued in collaboration with colleagues from the Division of Health Care Policy and Research and the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery.
