Anhar Hassan, M.B., B.Ch., performs clinical research in movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, atypical parkinsonism, impulse control disorders and hyperkinetic movement disorders.

Dr. Hassan is currently focused on genetic polymorphisms in dopamine and other neurotransmitter receptors related to Parkinson's disease phenotypes and impulse control disorders.

Additionally, Dr. Hassan is interested in Parkinson's disease duration and severity outcomes and nonmotor features. Interests in atypical parkinsonism include corticobasal syndrome and progressive supranuclear palsy.
