Clinical Studies

The Mayo Nephrology Collaborative Group (MNCG) is a consortium of nephrologists including Mayo Clinic Rochester, Jacksonville, and Scottsdale, and clinical and academic nephrologists located across the United States interested in developing and conducting prospective studies aimed at treating patients with renal parenchymal diseases.

Established in 1988 by Dr. James V. Donadio Jr. and collaborators, the consortium has grown to now encompass 23 clinical centers and involves the participation of 127 physicians and coordinators who are seeing the vast majority of patients with parenchymal renal diseases early in the course of illness, at a time when promising new therapies may exert their greatest influence.
