Molecular Epidemiology of Lymphoma and Leukemia Outcomes

Participation

This study includes patients with lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia seen at Mayo Clinic Rochester or the University of Iowa within nine months of their initial diagnosis. Participants complete a questionnaire (covering medical history, treatments, and quality of life), and provide a blood sample and access to their medical records. Patients are then followed every six months for 3 years, and then annually thereafter to provide information on their cancer, related health issues, quality of life, and other lifestyle factors. Mayo cases are also enrolled in the case-control study. By studying patient outcomes over the long-term, we hope to improve survival, overall health and quality of life.
