Wave Inversion - FFTW

mrewave implements the fftw routines to perform fourier transforms.

FFTW stands for "Fastest Fourier Transform in the West," and is a free Fourier transform package developed at MIT by Matteo Frigo and Steven G. Johnson. Advantages of FFTW include portability, dynamic adaptation to specific computer systems, arbitrary-length transform capability, and greater speed than many other Fourier transform functions. Detailed information is available on the www.fftw.org website.

NOTE:  The fftw routines will automatically calculate the need mrewave.fftw file as needed. This can take a considerable amount of time the first time fftw is executed.
