Wave Inversion - input data

(XYZ)3-axis: enables a least squared weighted LFE of 2D or 3D, three-sensitization data (X-, Y- and Z- polarizations). This mode requires all three sensitizations/polarizations data sets.

Single phase offset data can be analyzed, be sure to select a single phase offset on the parameters page.

For multiple phase offsets, the supplied magnitude data can have a single phase or multiple phases. The magnitude signal is only used in mask generation. Therefore the supplied image can be from the MRE experiment or a registered anatomical image.

MRE/Wave supports 4D data sets. For single slice processing the phase dimension should be in the 3rd, (z/slice) dimension. For multislice data sets there are 2 options. First, have the slice in the 3rd dimension (z) with the phase offset in the 4th dimension (t). The second options is to interleave slices and phase offsets in the 3rd dimension. As an example consider a data set with 3 slices (s0, s1, s2) and 4 phase offsets (t0, t1, t2, t3). The appropriate order is s0t0, s1t0, s2t0, s1t1, s2t1, s3t1, s0t2, s1t2, s2t2, s0t3, s1t3, s2t3.
